Lucia Loves: Books for Two Year Olds

February 28, 2013

I've mentioned before that Lucia has recently "gotten into" books. It took longer for her than it did for Juliet, but now that we are here, she is loving story time. I recently got a supply of review copies from Owl Kids Books and one of them was of particular interest to my sweet two year old.

A Day at the Farm is part of a beautiful series for young children. Not just a word book (pages with objects and their names listed underneath), these books also contain a small storyline that connects the pages of objects together.

You can sit and talk for a long time about these pages because the illustrations are so beautifully done and the characters and text spark your interest.

We also have Picture My World which is another favorite around here. I love how it has a ton of pages in it--we can spend a good amount of time just enjoying this one together. It also is a nice size for popping into my purse and having on hand for waiting room situations.

Although, we don't yet have Picture My Day, I'm sure it's just as wonderful as the other two.

What are your two year olds loving this week?

Two of these books were sent to me for review purposes. The opinions expressed are entirely my own.
