pumpkin creative table

October 31, 2012

Happy Halloween! I thought I would squeeze in one last pumpkin post for the year!

Inspired by Tinkerlab's instagram post the other day, we decorated paper pumpkins with sequins and neon glitter glue.

The kids had great fun while I was getting dinner ready (and we were waiting for Ben to drive home from the airport. He's been in Kenya for the past 10 days!)

I thought they might make faces on the pumpkins, but instead they just got crazy with the glitter glue. Can't say I blame them. :)

For those of you with glitter phobia, I find that glitter glue really contains the mess, but let's you have the same sparkle element in your projects.

What are you kid's dressing up as tonight? Do any of you dress up along with them?

We've got Rapunzel (the wedding version) and a little strawberry to take around the neighborhood tonight. Not sure if Ben and I will dress up or not.

Hope you have a fun night with your family!

(The glitter glue was provided to me for free by  Craftprojectideas.com. They've got some great products (which are available at Wal-Mart and a fun collection of kids craft boards on pinterest.))
