I'm no princess.

As I was making my bed this morning, I noticed this dollhouse vanity under the sheets. 

Juliet was standing next to me, so I asked her, "What is this doing in my bed?" 

"I guess I lost it in the covers during nap time yesterday," she replied. 

"So did I sleep with that in my bed?" I wondered aloud. 

"I guess you're not like the princess and the pea." she informed me. 

"What?" I asked.

"Since you couldn't feel it in your bed." she explained. 

Have I mentioned before how bad of an idea it is to read with your kids? :)

I haven't read this one yet, but I love Rachel Isadora's version of The Twelve Dancing Princesses.

The Princess and the Pea: A Pop-Up Book  This is another one on my wishlist--I love pop ups and this one looks beautiful.

Sleepy Princess and the Pea is one of Juliet's favorite games. She even likes playing with it by herself--which makes it an extra good game, in my opinion. :)
