Two weeks ago, I pulled my sewing machine out of the closet and set it up on our kitchen table.
I successfully sewed a pair of cotton underwear for my 5 year old! It was a great victory for me and my very feeble sewing skills.
The sewing machine is still sitting on our kitchen table in the hopes that I will sew something else.
I just came across this free tote bag pattern on pinterest and thought it might be a good option for sewing project number two.
It think it would make a fantastic library bag.
I'm still trying to decide if my skills and patience are up to it, but I thought I'd share it with you in case you were looking for a new library bag.
Our current library bag is a somewhat dirty canvas tote with a large Georgia peach on the front.
What do you use to tote books home from your library?
