merry christmas everywhere: christmas traditions around the world

Merry Christmas Everywhere
Need a good reason to hit the library this weekend? Check out this fun book if you are interested in some easy kid-friendly crafts and recipes from Christmas celebrations around the world.

There is a brief description of a tradition from each country listed and then simple steps on how to recreate it in your home.

It's lots of fun.

Countries featured are:

Australia, Bolivia, Canada, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Ghana, Great Britain, Greece, Iceland, India, Jamaica, Japan, Lebanon, Mexico, Nigeria, The Philippines, Poland, Puerto Rico, and Serbia.

We have a sponsored child in Bolivia, friends from Ethiopia, and my parents currently living in the Philippines, so it was especially fun to learn more about those countries' traditions.

If you like this sort of thing, there is a companion book that we love also called Happy Birthday Everywhere. (I reviewed it here.)

Have a wonderful weekend!
