mother's day craft ideas

May 6, 2011

I was looking through the archives and found a few projects that would be great as Mother's Day gifts.
You can find links to all of them here
Glitter Initial
button collage
heart handprint keepsake

I also found these great ideas on other blogs:

I'm kind of in love with this thumbprint Mother's day card
This is probably the cutest handprint keepsake I've seen lately.
Kids could easily make this sweet button card
I think these family rocks could be stamped by kids, too.
I love these owl spoons
Someday by Alison McGhee
If you are a mom, this book will make you cry. I can't even read it with my girls. But it's so sweet. Just go to the bookstore and read it. But bring a tissue. Lots of them.

Do you have any mother's day craft links to share? I'd love to see what you've been working on.

Hello, I'm new to your blog. I love the crafts and appreciate you posting them. We made Blooming Buttons with our Mom's Group and they were a hit!

I cried over Someday by McGhee! Ever so sweet. I love the craft ideas. My groovy girl hand-painted cards for all 4 of her grandmothers. Love those blank card packages at Hobby Lobby.

Happy Mama's Day!

Laura, thanks for letting me know about your mom's group activity! How fun. I'm glad they worked out for you.

Peaceful Reader, what a fun idea. I love the idea of hand-painted cards. I think we'll have to try that one next year. Or maybe for birthday gifts. :) Happy Mother's Day to you both.

My mum gave me Someday by Allison McGhee when my son was born. I cried so much I still can't pick it up without starting to tear. It is a beautiful book
