salt painting
Here's something fun we tried this week--salt painting. I found the directions at A Bit of This and That via the Crafty Crow, of course.

Jackie has a great recipe for water color paint here. I'm excited to try it out with Juliet.

Shannon shared a fun art idea--check out her blank canvas wall. So perfect for inspiring creativity.

She also shared some links to her favorite art blogs that were new to me! I'm so excited to start reading these and finding more great ideas to try out.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I have not seen salt painting done exactly that way. I am going to have to try it sometime. I like a lot of the art blogs you have listed.

What a fun idea. I'll have to show my daughter, she'll love this!

This looks like a lot of fun. I love art projects that have texture.

We used food coloring and water for the paint--it worked fine. Didn't have any liquid water colors on hand.
