valentine garland
I found these free printable acorns from Moselle a few months ago and bookmarked them to use next fall, but happily, I found a reason to print them out earlier!

Whenever possible, I love recreating objects and scenes from our favorite books--Juliet gets a kick out of seeing things jump from the pages of books into our home. This adorable garland looked like the perfect way to use those acorns. (It's from the book Secret Valentine)

It was really hard for me to get a shot from a good angle, but you can kind of get a good view in this one. It's so fun and cheery hanging in our kitchen.

I think these guys would probably appreciate it, too. (From Richard Scarry's Best Storybook Ever!)
How are you decorating for Valentines Day?

I love the garland! AND I love Richard Scarry :-) Target has a few Richard Scarry board books in the $1 section right now, we picked up a book on opposites and colors, they're really nice!

Oh, thanks for the tip, Regina! I'll have to head over there sometime today or tomorrow before they are gone!
