October 29, 2010

Today, my friend Katrina from the Low Ryder is sharing her 5 Books with us! Katrina is a fellow English major, so I know she will have great picks for us!

A must read Christmas Book: Apple Tree Christmas by Trinka Hakes Noble

Each Peach Pear Plum (Picture Puffins)
Best Seek and Find: Each Peach Pear Plum by Allan and Janet Ahlberg

Panda Cake
Best Moral of the Story: Panda Cake by Rosalie Seidler

The Best-Loved Doll (An Owlet Book)
Sweetest Girly Book where I Tear Up: The Best Loved Doll by Rebecca Caudill

Pouch!
Made my kids laugh out loud: Pouch by David Ezra Stein

......................
Thanks so much for sharing your 5 books with us, Katrina! I have not read ANY of these or even seen them before. (shame!) Rest assured that I have added them all to my "must read" list. I'm especially excited about Pouch

If you aren't familiar with Katrina's blog, head over and check it out! She puts a humorous spin on everyday life and shares valuable couponing info--for those of you who know how to coupon (I surely don't!)

Here's a link to one of my favorite posts of hers: Raskols, Ninjas, Elmos, and the Metaphysical Conceit
Her funny sister also posts every so often--here's a post that made me laugh outloud: Dirty Secrets
Check her out!

Oh my gosh! I actually have a copy of the Panda Cake! I got it when I was like 6 or 7 and I'm now 37! I have read it to all of my kids :)
