Maternity Leave

September 18, 2010

I've been busy these past few weeks working on pre-scheduling posts for October. I've also had the help from some of my blogging friends who were gracious enough to write guest posts for me to use during my "maternity blogging leave".

Because I am an over-preparer in the biggest way, I have started pre-scheduling these post for this coming week. Juliet came 3 weeks early, so I wanted to be ready with Lucia--just in case.

I wanted to let you know about the upcoming series of guest posts that I've entitled 5 Books. Essentially, I asked for each blogger to share 5 books with you. It's been so much fun reading their picks and learning about more great books.

I think you will really enjoy their suggestions and I hope you'll visit their blogs and see what they are all about.

I'll keep posting (in real time) until Lucia arrives, but once she does, you'll be reading what I've written several weeks ago. I'll try to check my email from time to time, but if I am inexplicably silent for several days, it's because I'm recovering!

Okay, that makes my over-preparing self feel a lot better. Watch. She'll come late. :)

yay! It's good to be prepared (coming from another over-preparer!). Looking forward to the guest posts, but even more so for Lucia's arrival! I can't wait to hear the good news!

Wow, you are super-organized! I really admire that. My first baby was three weeks early, and my second one was also three weeks early, but labor was super-quick. I barely made it to the hospital in time. The good thing was that the pain didn't last as long. I'm looking forward to reading the guest posts and discovering more great blogs.

Great idea to plan ahead. The 5 books posts sound like they'll be fun to read.

I'll be thinking of you and hoping your labor and recovery are fast!

I hadn't thought to do guest posts while I'm away having my little girl. Hmm, something to ponder. Best wishes for a smooth delivery. :)
