story books for babies

I don't recommend story books for babies at first because in my experience, my daughter didn't care to be read to right away. She preferred just looking at the books and having me point to pictures and talk about what I saw.

Whenever I started to actually read the text, she would get frustrated and angry. So, we didn't bother with the words until she was ready.

Whenever that moment comes--and it will come--these are some good books to introduce your baby to story books.


Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You : Dr. Seuss's Book of Wonderful Noises 
Who better to introduce your baby to than Dr. Seuss? This is a fun one with lots of opportunities for fun sound effects!

Kids and moms will find this one fun.

Your child will love Mo Willems when she gets older--this is a great way to start that love!
