I have recently starting following your blog (all the way from New Zealand) - very inspiring - thanks! These animals are so cute. I am going to try them with my son. As for great dog stories ... we love Hairy Maclary by Lynley Dodd - a New Zealand author!

How about the Franklin books by Paulette Bourgeois and Brenda Clark to go along with your really cute turtle creation? Franklin is a turtle and the stories are usually very sweet.
