I saw an idea for making Valentines cards using paper muffin tin liners in Better Homes and Gardens and thought it would be fun for Juliet and I to try it out. I set up the supplies and we set to work.
Here's one I made for Juliet using craft foam, foam stickers, and mini-muffin tin liners.
Here's another one...
And lastly, I made a row of flowers and used stickers to spell her name. She seemed to like this one the best except for the fact that she informed me that her name was not "Juliet," but instead "Olivia

(We like to pretend to be book characters at our house!)
Here's a close-up (the pink "u" is kind of hard to see!)
I've saved the best for last: Juliet's first Valentine to me! She had so much fun making her flowers. I will cherish this one forever. As she glued the muffin liner down, she exclaimed, "It's a dandelion!"
(Which reminds me of a book called The Dandelion Seed

We did this once. I had forgotten all about it until now. We may have to do it again this weekend.
That's so cute! We are going to make more collage hearts next week (http://infantbibliophile.blogspot.com/2010/01/heart-to-heart-back-to-back-valentines.html), but I also LOVE this idea, which I'll do if I have a chance to pick up a heart shaped muffin tin: http://blog.craftzine.com/archive/2010/01/crayon_heart_valentines_day_ca.html
Cute idea! Juliet's first Valentine is sweet.
I love them all!
Love how simple yet adorable it is! Also love that she wants to be Olivia on this particular day. =)
Love this idea! I have a TON of muffin cups for some reason!
So adorable!!!
These are so cute! I'm bookmarking this!
Cute Valentines!
We pretend to be book characters in our house too. And animals. Our animal type changes several times a day. :)
I love this idea!
Do you mind if I use one of your pics and link this activity back to you? It's adorable!
