12 days of christmas homemade ornament (9 drummers)

Our 9 drummers drumming ornaments are very similar to the eight maids-a-milking ones we did yesterday.

I saved up plastic juice bottle caps of various sizes and colors.

I hot-glued the ribbon to the underneath and to the sides so that it would make a little drum.

At first I just glued the ribbon under, but then the cap kept flipping over. I had to glue to the sides to keep it looking like a drum.

Next we took juice box drinking straws and cut them into mini-drumsticks.

Juliet glued these onto the tops of the drum using elmer's glue.

When finished, they looked something like this.

Then, we glued some sequins onto the sides to give them a little more sparkle.

After they dried, we hung them on our tree!
