I just read a review about this book Catch Picasso's Rooster on Brimful Curiosities and was completely intrigued by it. As an art lover, I am always looking for books that feature art to share with Juliet. I have put this series on my "books to find" list and am hoping to find copies somewhere soon. They are especially appealing to young children because they invite you to feel the art. The pages have pieces that make the artwork more interactive.
I also learned of a giveaway of this particular book on Booking Mama. You just have to visit her site and leave a comment to be entered to win the book.
Brimful Curiosities has an amazing activity idea to go along with the book that involves gluing various scraps of material onto pictures of famous paintings. They create their own "feel the art" projects--so fun! Juliet and I are going to try this soon.

This sounds so up our street! Thanks for the great tip :-)
My kids really loved making their own touch and feel art. We have the finished pieces hanging on a door so they can walk by and look and touch whenever they would like. It's a great hands-on way to help children develop an early appreciation for art.
