Juliet is completely obsessed with all things having to do with fire fighting. She loves the truck, the sirens, the hoses, the hats, the Dalmatians, the ladders, the fire fighters, and even the fire itself. It's the one game we play at least once a day, EVERY day. 

So, it came as no surprise that she loved this book about a cow who leaves the country in search of excitement and adventure in the big city. She finds it by answering an ad for a fire station mascot. They were looking for a Dalmatian, but one hadn't applied yet, and daisy had spots...so why not? 

The chief is not pleased with having a cow for a mascot, but Daisy's hard work and bravery in saving a calf from a burning barn turn her into a hero--and just the right mascot for their fire station.
