Daddies by Lila Prap
Ben is the one who reads to juliet every night before bed, so I like to find daddy books for him to read with her from time to time.
This is a good one because it has great illustrations and the story line really reflects the sorts of things daddies and kids like to do together.
A dad tells his son he has five more minutes of play time before he has to go to bed, and the little boy says, "let's pretend we're animals!" They become rhinos and stomp through the swamp, eat leaves off the trees as giraffes, hop around like kangaroos, swing through the trees like monkeys, etc.
Ben and juliet have a lot of fun pretending to be animals and especially making animal noises. Usually, his elephant impression really scares little kids, but juliet's so used to it, she thinks all daddies are able to do that sort of thing.
