Come Along, Daisy, Daisy and the Egg, and Quack, Daisy, Quack! by Jane Simmons

We love all the Daisy books--the first one we ever read was Come Along, Daisy. In it, Daisy the duckling gets separated from her mama, but gets found in the end. We turned that one back into the library. A few weeks later, we were looking for new books and juliet pulled Quack, Daisy, Quack off the shelf. She looked at it and cried out excitedly, "Daisy!!" So of course we checked it out and also Daisy and The Egg.

In Daisy and the Egg, Daisy becomes a big sister to little Pip. Juliet REALLY likes pip and points him out every time we turn the page, 'look! there's Pip!"

In Quack, Daisy, Quack, Daisy and Pip get separated from their mama in the midst of a duck feeding frenzy. A loud quack from Daisy
reunites them in the end. Juliet quacks nonstop through this one. Really loudly. I'm talking mad-duck volume.
